"God created sin so that we might know mercy." - FNL

I've just recently began watching a show on Netflix called Friday Night Lights. It's an older series, so some of you may have seen it on television before. It's focused around a small town in Texas who's main gossip features friday night football games. I'm 12 episodes in and I think 10 of them have made me cry or tear up. Although, it will never ever compete with One Tree Hill, I personally recommend it to any one who is from  a small town and can relate.

I haven't posted in a long time and not at the speed I thought I would when I first made this blog but please bare with me.

A couple weeks ago, I got to spend 9 days at home for spring break. The weather was actually pretty nice when it wasn't raining! I got some pre-tanning done and came back with a nice complexion. :)

The first Sunday I was home, I got to spend some time with Landon's lovely parents as we traveled to Campbell to watch a nice sunny baseball game. Talk about a perfect sunday. During the game, I got to catch up with my new friend Lizzie who's a girlfriend of one of Landon's team mates. She goes to Chapel Hill  and is from Richmond County originally. My grandparents live the next county over so it's funny to find someone who actually knows what I'm talking about when I say the word "Polkton." We are both very sassy individuals which calls for very sassy conversations. ;) I'm very thankful for her friendship & I can't wait to take on this college baseball girlfriend experience with her further. *insert sassy emoji here* Landon ended up pitching a great inning, however that wasn't enough to pull a win. We had a quick yummy dinner together then Mr. Doug, Mrs. Renee and I headed back to Ole Shallotte . We talked most of the ride back and I am so thankful that my boyfriends parents have been such a blessing and have always supported me too these past 4 years. I love them very very much!

P.S Landon cut all his hair off and I haven't seen it this short since I first met him in Mrs. Carters 5th grade class!

I spent the rest of my spring break babysitting, catching up and spending some much needed family time.

The friday before I left, mom decided to take off work in order to spend some time with me and daddy.
We took a day trip to Wrightsville beach, where we ate a nice water front lunch, did a little shopping & road around with the windows down. I'm so blessed to have both of my parents and be given these types of opportunities. They just recently celebrated 26 years together +8 years of dating so thats actually 34!

" Let me take a selfie."
Oh, Kate.

This past weekend, my lovely next door neighbor and dear friend Mial came to visit ECU! Mial will be living at an apartment with Savannah, Hannah & I next year and we are all so excited. We showed her the apartment, around town and she met all our friends in the dorm. The next step is gathering items for the apartment and decorating!

I cannot believe freshman year has already passed by so fast. I thought high school went by fast.... nothing like this!

Forever & Always,
Summer
